Michael Cohen
Millburn Township Committee
Michael Cohen has served Millburn’s Glenwood section since 1988 and holds the position of Township Committee. Elected to the Township Committee, he has played a key role in shaping local initiatives. With an MBA from Northwestern and previous corporate leadership in finance, he has led efforts in flood mitigation, public safety, and infrastructure improvements.
His notable accomplishments include leading flood mitigation efforts, securing drainage improvements in South Mountain, and advocating for responsible environmental safety in Glenwood while preserving the nearby Cora Hartshorn Arboretum.
He also prioritized public safety, helping fund additional police resources and crime reduction technology.
A supporter of community infrastructure, Cohen backed critical upgrades for Millburn’s Town Hall and library, and helped secure support for the beloved Paper Mill Playhouse—a vital cultural and economic institution.
Michael is a proud husband and father of two adult children—family values that continue to guide his work strengthening Millburn’s future.
