Alicia Holman

Alicia Holman is a seasoned leader and lifelong East Orange resident, serving the 5th Ward since 2006. She is recognized for her over two decades of advocacy and governance.

Holman has held key roles including Council Chair (2015), and served as chair of Public Safety, Housing, Licensing & Inspection, and Law & Legislation committees. She has also contributed significantly to Finance, Public Works, and Planning & Grants.

Professionally, she works in youth programming with Essex County’s Department of Citizen Services and has experience in corporate management, insurance, economic development, and nonprofit coordination. Her legislative focus includes modernization of local services, tenant protection, youth access to recreation, and public safety.

Holman’s leadership is deeply rooted in integrity, community advocacy, and results-driven governance that supports East Orange’s residents across generations.
